Drug Trafficking Research in the Americas: An Annotated Bibliography

This volume provides a guide to the ever expanding drug-related literature, concentrating on the most important, relevant sources chosen by a collection of scholars, analysts, and practitioners from a variety of disciplines. This multidisciplinary, multinational approach critically assesses the current social science literature on a complex and highly contentious issue in U.S.-Latin American relations. It is the second in a series of three volumes resulting from the North-South Center Drug Trafficking Task Force, co-sponsored by the North-South Center and the Graduate School of International Studies, University of Miami, and the Centro de Estudios Internacionales, Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá.

Bruce Michael Bagley is professor of Interamerican Studies at the Graduate School of International Studies, University of Miami, and served as the director of the North-South Center Drug Trafficking Task Force.
